- Current American Heart Association BLS certificate or obtained within 90 days after hire date.
- Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision
- Trained in IV Therapy
- Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
- Language Skills : Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.Department / Unit Summary
- 12 Bed Unit
- 1 : 6 Patient Ratio
- 10-12 day LOS.
- Patients receive therapy daily, participate in activities and communal meals.
- Therapy staff has a large presence on this unit as well and works collaboratively with nursing.
- Extremely flexible scheduling options.
- Provider coverage on unit to provide nursing support 24 / 7.
