As we continue to grow, we are seeking a skilled and driven Human Resources Generalist to join our dynamic HR team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a real impact by driving meaningful HR initiatives while fostering a positive employee experience across the organization.
Some of the tasks for this position include, but are not limited to:
Benefits Administration
Administers the benefit system processing: enrollments, terminations and other changes for health and welfare plans including medical, dental, vision, life insurance and flexible spending accounts (Open enrollment and life events)
Provide customer service to employees and provide resolution
Handle mass communications related to benefits, ensuring clear and comprehensive information is conveyed to all employees
Functions as a liaison between plan administrators and members. Advises members on eligibility, coverage and other benefits matters
Monitor weekly vendor error files/reporting
Oversee newly eligible benefits enrollment process; coordinate annual benefits enrollment process including involvement with contract renewals and management with vendor partners
Ensure ACA compliance including monitoring of required employee information review for annual filings, measurement period, eligibility determination, compliance testing, and other duties related to the health and welfare plan administration
Works with the admin leave specialist on leaves of absence to include (FMLA, Excused, Military, Medical / Vacation / Paid Time Off, Donated Vacation hours, Short Term Disability, Work Restriction and ADAAA)
Supportive in other areas of HR
Answers questions regarding agency policies and procedures
Support leave Generalist on leave (FMLA, Excused, Military, Bereavement, Jury Duty, Medical / Vacation / Paid Time Off, Donated Vacation hours, Short Term Disability, Work Restriction, LTD and ADAA)
Provides support to employee investigations regarding harassment, employee concerns and other employee relations.
Generates requested information from computer reports
Assists with policy development

Requirements
Education and Experience
Bachelors Degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology or other related field, or equivalent work experience required. Three to five years’ experience as an HR Coordinator or related position. Preferred experience with strong comprehension of benefits, ACA and ERISA compliance and related reporting requirements.
