Your Role:
As the HR Generalist, you will play a crucial role in supporting the HR department and assisting with various HR tasks, and responsibilities that will include:

Being the first point of contact for employees and candidates, providing administrative support and handling their queries.

Partnering with the HR Manager on payroll, benefits, recruiting, leave administration, and other HR areas, ensuring timely and accurate processing in compliance with government regulations.

Providing direct support to the HR Manager on various tasks, offering exposure to a wide variety of HR-related experiences.

Managing the employee database, processing payroll documents, and answering employee questions.

Taking part in the hiring process by assisting with reference checks, job postings, and preparing contracts.

Maintaining the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records.

Acting as a liaison between the organization and external benefits providers and vendors.

Conducting or assisting with new hire orientation and exit interviews.

Partnering with the Recruiter and Executive Assistant to assist with recruiting, onboarding, and internship programs.
Is This for You?
If you have the following qualifications, this job would be a great fit for you:

2 years of business or human resources-related experience required.

Bachelor's degree in business administration, human resources, or a related field, or the equivalent required.

Previous remote or hybrid work experience is a plus.

PHR or SPHR certification is helpful.

Experience with or knowledge of AI/ML is preferred.

Additional Details:

This is a hybrid-remote, full-time position based in Madison, SD, with two to three days in the office each week.
-
Occasional travel may be required.
-
Standard work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. CT, with some after-work hours on rare occasions due to workload or tight deadlines.
