LifeScape is hiring a Representative Payee Facilitator who will be responsible for accurate recordkeeping of financial transactions for adults supported by LifeScape, will facilitate availability of funds, help safeguard financial resources, and adhere to Social Security and other rules for use of beneficiaries’ funds.

Some of the job responsibilities associated with this opportunity include but are not limited to:
Accurately recording financial transactions in software program
Responding to individuals’ monetary needs in a timely manner
Completing monthly audit reports by reconciling individuals’ checking and savings accounts
Following up with staff who work directly with individuals and other staff regarding any issues or problems
Reporting to Quality Department or management any findings concerning non-compliance with Social Security rules as well as VA and internal rules
Working with Residential Managers on training for, and expectations of, direct care staff who handle funds for individuals
Completing Representative Payee reports for Social Security
Scanning and electronically filing all social security letters, bank statements, and other financial statements to ensure easy access for others in the organization
Copying and mailing audit reports for parents/guardians upon request
Performing all the above in a timely and accurate manner
Other duties as otherwise assigned
Requirements
Education and Experience
High School diploma/GED and two years bookkeeping or basic accounting experience is required.
