What are the responsibilities and job description for the Safety Coordinator position at LifeScience Logistics?
Responsibilities
- Plan safety audits and coordinate corresponding activities with facilities and operations teams.
- Conduct safety audits and maintain clean records.
- Investigate incidents and assist with corresponding incident reports.
- Maintain records within the safety database.
- OSHA reporting and recording as necessary.
- Providing departments various safety reports or information as requested.
- Develop supplemental training materials as needed for operations within LSL.
- Research, study, evaluate and advise on new safety measures and procedures for further improvements.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Job Specifications
Certifications such as 1st Aid, CPR, Stop the Bleed, AED, Safe Driving, etc. considered a plus.
