Job Description:
We are collaborating with PG Customs, LLC to fill open positions for a skilled construction laborer. The ideal candidate will assist the owner with various construction support tasks and be responsible for operating and caring for equipment and machines. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions from supervisors.
Responsibilities:
• Operate and care for construction equipment and machines
• Help equipment operators, carpenters, and other skilled labor when necessary
• Prepare construction sites by cleaning obstacles and hazards
• Load or unload construction materials
• Assemble and disassemble temporary structures, such as scaffolding
• Remove, fill, or compact earth
• Follow instructions from supervisors
• Assist craft workers
• Be prepared to learn from on-the-job training when necessary
• Perform site clean-up
Skills & Qualifications:
• Ability to perform physical labor and other strenuous physical tasks
• Ability to work in all weather conditions
• Punctuality and reliability are essential
• Experience as a general laborer in the construction industry is required
• Good communication skills are necessary
Requirements:
• Valid driver's license is required
• Minimum 18 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent is required
