The Kitchen Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the kitchen operates efficiently and successfully, preparing quality products and providing excellent service to customers. The Kitchen Supervisor actively works with, and supports the team in meeting production, sales, food quality, food variety, and financial goals.
Starting Pay : $39,000 / yr.
Schedule : Wed-Sun 6 : 00am to 2 : 30pm
Duties :
- Sets production priorities and ensures the production schedule is followed
- Reprioritizes and redirects staff as needed to ensure production occurs.
- Assists staff in problem-solving kitchen issues and concerns that arise during production and packaging.
- Regularly communicates with staff to determine whether the kitchen is operating efficiently, successfully and the work is being done correctly, and in a timely fashion.
- Ensures staff complete their work within Deli and health department standards.
- Model high standards for Deli staff in productivity, timeliness, being on shift
- When needed, provides staff with timelines for task completion to make sure production stays on track.
- Provides training to new employees and current staff regarding the appropriate methods for producing product.
- Works at an assigned station each shift
- Produces products by following recipes and assists with recipe development.
- Works with Deli Manager to create weekly menus and ensure items are ordered, etc.
