The Regional Account Manager (RAM) – Washington State supports LifeStream’s mission by achieving individual monthly, quarterly, and annual blood donation goals within assigned territory. Develop, maintain, and expand professional relationships with community businesses and organizations with the goal of adding blood drives from new groups and increasing blood donations from existing groups. Working collaboratively with the Senior Director, the RAM is responsible for all aspects of the blood drive recruitment process within an assigned territory in order to ensure successful drives to achieve collection goals. Develop a strong working knowledge of assigned territory, its government, demographics, organizations, schools, and churches to identify strategic opportunities to expand and grow assigned territory. Develop and implement Marketing plans for assigned market. Develops Telerecruitment plan for assigned territory.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

- Identify, develop, and implement strategies to attract, recruit, manage and retain blood drive groups within the assigned territory to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual collection goals.
- Increase blood drive frequency for each account in assigned territory by developing an annual blood drive schedule to be presented to every blood drive chair person.
- Follows the 12-week process to provide all necessary support to blood drive chair persons through personalized, consistent, and proactive planning to ensure successful and productive blood drives.
- Plan and execute efficient blood drives whilst maintaining a high level of attention to detail, ensuring all key performance indicators are achieved including; projection accuracy, booking status, DaSH (donors per staff hour), and monthly collection goals.
- Procure new donor groups by cold calling, attending community events, presenting educational sessions, and networking in assigned territory.
- Work closely with Senior Director to develop a strong working knowledge of assigned territory, its government, demographics, organizations, schools, and churches to identify strategic opportunities to expand and grow assigned territory.
- Ensure adequate appointments for each blood drive and proactively implements necessary actions when individual blood drive appointments are not sufficient to meet the projected collections for that blood drive.
- Work collaboratively with the Senior Director to:
- Ensure individual blood drives are successful and productive
- Develop an annual blood drive booking plan for each account
- Grow assigned territory
- Implement external communications for donor outreach, donor groups, hospitals and the public in general in the assigned market
- Assist with telerecruitment, marketing, and social media campaigns to increase appointments, show rates, etc.

NATURE AND EXTENT OF SUPERVISION PROVIDED TO THE POSITION:
Overall, objectives and resource allocations are determined by the Supervisor, providing broad administrative direction, with assignments given in terms of broadly defined missions or functions. Employee plans, designs, and carries out programs, projects, studies, or other work independently. Results are considered technically sound by virtue of the employee’s expertise and are generally accepted with review only for conformity to objectives, contribution to program goals, and/or advancement of technological understanding.

EDUCATION
Bachelor’s Degree (BA) in Business, Marketing, Public Relations, or related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
EXPERIENCE
Experience in sales/territory management, strong background in customer service, and negotiation skills. Excellent verbal and written communication and public speaking skills required. Sales and marketing experience is strongly preferred.

Current Driver’s License.
