Lifestyle Chiropractic and Wellness is a well-established private practice chiropractic office with two chiropractors. We are looking for a friendly, self-motivated and experienced Patient Care Coordinator. We are looking for someone with a warm and welcoming smile and demeanor. The right candidate would be outgoing, detail-orientated person with the ability to multitask. Must have experience in a medical or chiropractic office. The ideal candidate will also have experience using Chirotouch. The Patient Care Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring a smooth and efficient patient experience within our healthcare facility. This position involves managing patient interactions, coordinating appointments, and providing essential administrative support to medical staff.
Responsibilities for Patient Care Coordinator:
- Greet and welcome patients to the chiropractic office.
- Answer phone calls and schedule appointments.
- Manage patient records and update information in Chirotouch software system.
- Verify insurance coverage and process insurance claims.
- Assist with billing, insurance verification and payment collection.
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure patient satisfaction
- Coordinate with office team to ensure smooth patient flow.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area and throughout the office.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, addressing inquiries and providing information about services.
- Maintain accurate patient records and manage documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Collaborate with medical staff to facilitate effective communication regarding patient care needs.
- Educate patients on procedures, treatment plans, and follow-up care as needed.
Skills
- Proficiency in medical terminology to effectively communicate with patients and healthcare professionals.
- Experience in an office environment, preferably within a medical office setting.
