Position Summary
As a Project Coordinator at Lifestyle Solar, you will play a vital role in overseeing solar project development from inception to completion. This position ensures projects are executed efficiently and effectively, contributing to our mission of promoting sustainable energy solutions.
Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in solar field operations, project coordination, or management within construction or renewable energy. (Homebuilder experience is a plus.)
- Knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and applicable codes/standards to review project plans.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics effectively.
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients.
- Proficiency in Salesforce and adaptable computer/software skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment.
Key Responsibilities
Tracking Progress
- Monitor daily project progress, ensuring smooth transitions between phases.
Communication
- Provide regular updates to project managers and stakeholders.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with all team members.
Organizing & Scheduling
- Create and maintain project schedules.
- Oversee project logistics and keep detailed records of activities.
- Obtain builder project documents, including address lists, plot plans, and other required materials for solar design and installation.
Task Assignment
- Assign daily tasks to team members and ensure they have the necessary resources to complete their work.
- Monitor task completion and adjust workloads as needed.
- Work directly with homebuilders and partners to launch new solar communities.
- Receive and organize Builder Phase Releases for CRM setup and project documentation.
Liaising
- Serve as the primary contact between team members and project managers, ensuring smooth interactions and feedback loops.
Resource Management
- Coordinate the efficient use of personnel, contractors, information, and materials.
Issue Handling
- Identify, report, and assist in resolving any issues or risks that could impact project success.
Team Morale
- Foster positive team morale and promote strong working relationships within the project team.
Adaptability
- Adjust plans and adapt to changes in project timelines or objectives as needed.

- Coordinate with the warehouse for material management.
- Assist with quality control checks throughout project development.
Field Crew & Technician Notifications
- Ensure field crews are informed about logistics, including hotel arrangements.
Superintendent Coordination
- Prepare a task list for superintendents.
Dispatch Descriptions
- Create dispatch templates and include relevant notes from past projects.
Job Scheduling
- Ensure no new jobs are scheduled after 12 PM for alignment with project timelines.
End-of-Day Inspections
- Confirm that inspections are scheduled at the end of each day.
Placard Management
- Work with the warehouse (WH) to ensure placards are properly stored and ready for use.
Weekly Meetings
- Hold meetings every Wednesday and Friday to review job status and ensure materials and placards are ready for upcoming work.
Dispatch Tracking
- Double-check dispatch records for accuracy.
Midday Check-ins
- Conduct midday calls to monitor project progress and address any potential issues.
