POSITION SUMMARY:
LifeWave’s VP of MarCom is a senior-level position responsible for developing and executing strategies to promote the company brand, products, and business opportunity with internal and external audiences. This role oversees all integrated marcom efforts from corporate communications (internal and external), public / media relations, advertising as well as other customer programs. They lead a team of communication professionals and work closely with senior executives to align communication efforts with business objectives.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Strategy Development: Create and implement comprehensive communication strategies aligned with business goals, including crisis communication plans.
- Media Relations: Manage relationships with media outlets, proactively pitch stories, and serve as the primary company spokesperson for press inquiries.
- Messaging Development: Craft clear and compelling messaging for internal and external communications, including press releases, company announcements, social media content, and executive speeches.
- Internal Communications: Lead employee communication initiatives to keep staff informed about company updates, strategic priorities, and culture.
- Brand Consistency: Ensure consistent brand messaging across all communication channels, maintaining brand identity and reputation.
- Preferred Customer Program: Develop programs, strategies and incentives to grow and retain multiple customer groups.
- Content Creation: Oversee the production of various communication materials including website content, newsletters, annual reports, and presentations.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build relationships with key stakeholders including partners, industry influencers, and community leaders.
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of communication professionals including PR specialists, content writers.
- Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze communication and brand health metrics to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and identify areas for improvement.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or master’s degree in a relevant field such as business management or business administration
- 15 years of Marketing or Business management experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong strategic thinking and planning abilities
- Deep understanding of brand landscape and communication channels
- Crisis communication expertise
- Leadership and team management skills
- Ability to build relationships with key stakeholders
- Knowledge of digital communication tools and social media platform

While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to remain in an office at a computer workstation and access information from a computer. The employee is required to be mobile to, from, and within the office. The employee may occasionally move up to 25 pounds.
