Job responsibilities:
The Service Consultant meets with patients after their initial consultation with their practitioner to enlighten them on the cost of their lab testing and treatment program. The Service Consultant provides the new patient with a binder containing all the information they will require to begin treatment, accepts payment and follows up with phone calls or emails to ensure that the patient completes their lab testing and begins treatment.
As one of the first points of contact to our clinic, the manner in which the Service Consultant communicates with new patients, their tone and professionalism, is everything, and can make or break the decision for the patient to receive treatment at our clinic.
Your duties will include:
· Graciously and compassionately enlighten patient after their appointment with their practitioner on the cost of their lab testing and treatment program.
· Further educate the patient on our alternative approach.
· Provide educational information on all practitioner advised treatments.
· Provide the new patient with a binder of information including their treatment program, informational sheets on the various treatments etc. so that they can adequately prepare themselves for their lab testing and treatment program.
· Accept payment and follow up with phone calls or emails to ensure that the patient pays for all lab testing prior to scheduling.
· Follow up with further phone calls or emails to collect full payment for the treatment program so that the patient is able to progress through all their practitioner ordered program steps towards achieving results.
· Participate in meetings to coordinate information, care requirements, resolving issues that could affect smooth care progress.
· Assist in generating new patient leads through an internal referral campaign with existing patients.
· Facilitate new patients meeting with a scheduler after they purchase their programs so as to ensure that they are scheduled for and begin their treatment program steps.
· Record all conversations and actions taken with the patient in their chart to ensure chart information is accurate and complete. Keep 100% perfect patient charting admin so that it can be clearly seen what questions have been asked and how they were answered.
· Always maintaining patient confidentiality. Never discussing confidential LifeWorks Wellness Center matters or policies on the phone with patients or where a patient can overhear their conversation.
· Keep their supervisor updated and alert their supervisor if there is a situation that is escalating in a negative way.
· Serve and protect the Doctor’s practice by adhering to professional standards, policies and procedures, federal, state, and local requirements.
· Maintain safe, secure, and healthy work environment by establishing and following standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations.
