Outside Sales Representative:
We have an exciting opportunity for an Outside Sales Representative for our Reading Tractor and Equipment branch. Candidates should be excited to develop new customer relationships, seek competitive business, and work with an established sales team to sell compact agricultural, farm, construction, and mower equipment.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Maximize new business opportunities through cold calling and customer visits
- Answer phone and web requests
- Provide customers with prompt, courteous, and professional service
- Demonstrate product knowledge of Compact Construction equipment and attachments, Commercial and Residential mowing equipment, Compact tractors, and Ag tractors.
- Create sales quotes.
- Occasionally deliver new and used equipment to customer location.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be over the age of 18
- Basic computer knowledge to create quotes
- Sales experience preferred but will train a highly motivated individual
- Self-starter who enjoys helping customers
- Excellent communication, organization, and follow-up skills
- Maintains a professional demeanor with clients and coworkers
- Demonstrates professional communication in- person, phone, and email
- Must have valid driver’s license and good driving record
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
- One to Three years of Agricultural, Construction or Landscaping experience
- High School diploma or equivalent
