Compliance Specialist
Job Description:
Lifted Made is seeking a Compliance Specialist to ensure adherence to compliance and safety regulations as dictated by the various certifying and regulatory bodies, including GMP, OSHA, and the State of Wisconsin. The qualified candidate will be responsible for development and implantation of a new compliance program throughout key areas of an established company and culture. This position works closely with the internal executive team and external consulting experts on the defined areas of focus.
This position will be responsible and accountable for the ultimate success of the company’s GMP and other safety initiatives. It will involve a combination of detailed recordkeeping, filing, and development of the company’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) at the direction and guidance of internal staff and external consultants, and will take the lead in coordination with Third Party Auditors and compliance professionals as part of the ongoing continuity and upgrades to the facility compliance and safety program.
Main responsibilities will include:
· Support external GMP and other safety audits and inspections performed by various certifying and regulatory bodies – ensure inspection readiness for audit preparation, schedule and manage mock inspections, SME coaching.
· Review site response.
· Respond to information requests, partner with internal stakeholders to gather data and formulate responses.
· Partner with site for execution of proactive compliance readiness.
· Perform Gap Assessments on local procedures to ensure compliance.
· Participate in meetings, provide guidance.
· Author, review, and revise local procedures.
Qualifications:
· Associate’s Degree in a related field, Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
· 1 years of related experience in a GMP-regulated industry, inclusive of regulatory compliance experience.
· Experience supporting internal or external audits.
· Candidate must demonstrate a high level of organizational and verbal/written communication skills, must be a highly and self-motivated individual, and be a self-starter.
· Must be able to grasp new concepts and learn quickly.
· Possess the ability to work with others in a collaborative manner.
· Proficiency with MS Office / Google Suite is required.
