We’re looking for a versatile developer with a strong command of both WordPress and Laravel, capable of building complex back-end applications, developing and modifying custom plugins, and integrating third-party APIs. This role complements a team primarily focused on front-end development and WordPress theming by adding advanced back-end expertise and problem-solving capabilities. This role requires not only advanced coding skills but also the ability to dive into complex projects, understand intricate architectures, and extend functionality within existing codebases and frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain complex Laravel applications
- Create and modify custom WordPress plugins to enhance site functionality
- Integrate third-party APIs into websites and web applications
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in existing codebases (WordPress and Laravel)
- Extend functionality of WordPress plugins as required
- Write, modify, and optimize SQL database queries
- Set up and manage environments for web servers, including staging and production deployments
- Collaborate with front-end developers, project managers, and designers to clarify project requirements and align on timelines
- Mentor Junior Web Developers on back-end techniques and integration strategies
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, with a focus on complex back-end functionality
- Develop and maintain technical documentation as necessary
Position Requirements
Please note : Lifted Logic operates on a hybrid work schedule and all employees are required to be in office 3 days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday)
