About the Role
We’re a fast-growing, family-owned lighting business with both a retail store and an online shop. We're looking for an experienced and thoughtful E-Commerce Team Manager to lead our customer service and sales teams, help train our staff, and work closely with the CEO to keep our business running smoothly.
This is a leadership role that blends people skills, process management, and a heart for customer service. You'll play a big part in our future.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and support a team of e-commerce sales and customer service agents
- Provide continuous training and coaching to improve team performance
- Prioritize daily tasks and ensure team focus and follow-through
- Coordinate communication across departments (sales, service, logistics, etc.)
- Lead team meetings and follow up on action items
- Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and reviewing Profit & Loss data
- Anticipate customer needs and solve issues proactively and profitably
- Help the CEO identify ways to improve operations and customer satisfaction
Qualifications
- 3 years of experience in e-commerce, customer service, or sales team management
- Strong background in training and team development
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Comfortable with tools like Google Workspace, MS Teams, Slack, Excel, and order management systems
- Experience analyzing business performance (P&L, KPIs, etc.)
- Bonus: Experience in the home goods, electrical or lighting industry
