Responsibilities:
Business Development & Capture Analysis:
- Identify, research, and track new government contracting opportunities
- Analyze solicitation documents to determine company fit and feasibility
- Develop and maintain capture documentation, including opportunity overviews, qualification slide decks, and call plans
- Support opportunity qualification efforts through competitive analysis and business intelligence
- Utilize databases such as SAM.gov, FPDS, GovWin, GovTribe, Bloomberg, and agency procurement forecasts to gather relevant business insights
- Monitor government procurement trends and forecast upcoming contract opportunities
- Identify teaming and subcontracting opportunities by analyzing competitors and potential partners
- Track and manage opportunities using Salesforce, SharePoint, and GovWin
- Maintain records of past performance and relevant bid data
- Collaborate with proposal teams to ensure alignment with capture strategies
- Support development of key win themes, capabilities gap analysis, and price-to-win strategies
- Assist in the development of teaming strategies and partnership opportunities
- Conduct internal capability assessments to identify strengths and areas for growth
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to build relationships and enhance business positioning
- US Citizenship
- Experience in business development, capture management, or government contracting
- Strong research and analytical skills, with experience using SAM.gov, FPDS, GovWin, and other procurement tools
- Understanding of federal acquisition regulations (FAR/DFAR) and government contracting processes
- Ability to analyze complex solicitation documents and develop strategic recommendations
- Proficiency in Salesforce, SharePoint, Microsoft Office Suite, and data visualization tools
- Knowledge of socio-economic programs (8(a), WOSB, HUBZone, SDVOSB)
- Experience in competitive intelligence, price-to-win (PTW) analysis, and capture planning
- Familiarity with government agency procurement cycles and proposal development
