What are the responsibilities and job description for the Team Lead (2nd Shift) position at LightFire Group?
Available Shift: Monday to Friday, 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with management to optimize warehouse layouts, streamline workflows, and enhance efficiency.
- Oversee and participate in warehouse replenishment and inventory consolidation activities.
- Train and support inventory staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and accountability.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Collaborate with the purchasing team to relocate or reassign slow-moving products.
- Perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, kneeling, and pushing as required.
- Drive continuous improvements in safety, efficiency, and operational accuracy.
Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday, 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM
- Flexibility to work outside standard hours and weekends based on business needs.
- Compensation will be discussed with the hiring manager and is commensurate with experience.
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of experience in a high-volume pick, pack, and ship distribution environment.
- Familiarity with WMS systems and proven experience in inventory processes such as cycle counting and product movement.
- Order picking machine experience.
- Strong attention to detail, math skills, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform tasks requiring bending, kneeling, and pushing.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Docs.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities and a proactive, "can-do" attitude.
- Excellent time management, organizational, and communication skills.
