What are the responsibilities and job description for the Full time Infant Teacher position at Lighthouse Academy Child Development Center?
This position is for an infant teacher. The infants are children 6 weeks to 9/12 months. There are 2 teachers in this classroom with 8 children. Each child is assigned 4 children and you will be responsible for meeting all of those children's needs.
This position is also for an opener position so you would be in charge of opening each morning at 645am. From 645am-715am, this position has mixed aged children in the room.
The hours would be Monday to Friday 645am-230pm. No nights, no weekends and we are closed for major holidays. We do offer holiday pay for teachers who qualify. The State of Nebraska also has a grant opportunity right now for teachers who work for a qualified center and are hired before 12/31/22 and are still employed 1/10/2024. That grant is for $2500 to each qualifying teacher.
Nebraska Central Registry and a fingerprint check are required and you must pass both of those. This position is open immediately.
