This individual will play a key role in expanding our network of referral partners while meeting performance metrics. This position will primarily cover the regions in Nebraska and Iowa where LAC centers are located.

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Referral Specialist to serve in a traditional sales role, responsible for driving patient referrals through strategic outreach to healthcare providers and other referral sources. This individual will play a key role in expanding our network of referral partners while meeting performance metrics. This position will primarily cover the regions in Nebraska and Iowa where LAC centers are located.
Key Responsibilities
- Referral Source Development:
- Identify and establish relationships with new referral sources, including pediatricians, neurologists, primary care providers, schools, and other relevant professionals.
- Schedule and conduct meetings to present our services, build trust, and drive referrals to our centers.
- Engagement Metrics:
- Achieve monthly targets for new referral generation.
- Conduct regular outreach calls and in-person visits, ensuring consistent engagement with a minimum number of providers each month.
- Travel and Territory Management:
- Travel to cover Nebraska and Iowa.
- Plan and execute strategic travel schedules to maximize territory coverage and relationship-building opportunities.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with the clinical and administrative teams to ensure seamless onboarding of referred patients.
- Provide feedback from the field to inform marketing strategies and service improvements.
- Reporting:
- Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs), including referral generation, outreach activities, and territory updates.
- Maintain detailed records of interactions and follow-ups in the CRM system.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred.
- 5 years of experience in a sales, business development, or healthcare outreach role, preferably in the healthcare or autism services sector.
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales or referral generation goals.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively present information and build relationships.
- Self-motivated with excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to travel, including occasional overnight stays.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
