Position: Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner – Residential Withdrawal Management
Job Summary: To ensure the delivery of high-quality client care in the residential withdrawal management setting, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations, as well as CARF standards of care; providing medical care and directing nurses and supportive staff in the treatment of clients experiencing withdrawal from substances of misuse. This position reports to the Medical Director.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Perform comprehensive substance use disorder and psychiatric assessments within the required timeframe of an admission to residential withdrawal management treatment and establish a medical plan of care for those admitted.
- Provide medical care for the duration of the client's stay in residential treatment, including medication management and medication-assisted treatment for individuals experiencing withdrawal.
- Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, considering their unique needs, preferences, and treatment goals.
- Monitor client health progress, communicating updates effectively to members of the interdisciplinary treatment team.
- Offer crisis intervention and support to clients in acute distress.
- Maintain good working relationships with support networks, government resources, and community resources.
- May provide supervision and guidance to other nursing or ancillary staff.
- Remain informed about current evidence-based practice in the fields of psychiatry and addiction.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- On call shifts required.
Required Experience/Certifications:
- Valid and current state RN and APRN license
- Minimum of 1 year of addiction and psychiatric experience
- Knowledge of federal, state, and other applicable standards for clinical practice in assigned area(s)
- Must pass BCI check, all corporate compliance checks, and employment drug screen
Desired Experience/Certifications:
- CARN-AP certification preferred

Compensation range: $117,000 - $130,000 annually
