Job specifics are as follows:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients to drive repeat business, referrals, and long-term partnerships.
- Collaborate with the internal team to ensure that proposals, project timelines, and budgets align with client expectations and company capabilities.
- Track sales activities, provide regular updates to management, and meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs.
- Generate new business opportunities that increase company sales revenue.
- Prepare and present preliminary budgets and feasibility overviews for new projects.
- Take new prospects from the initial point of contact up to the point of a signed Construction Planning agreement.
- Create a “Raving Fan” with each and every client
- Be an over communicator!
- Learn and become proficient with the Lighthouse Sales Process and Platform.
- Maintain and monitor the company Sales Pipeline
- Work collaboratively with all team members including company staff, clients and trade partners including architects, designers, realtors, vendors and subcontractors.
- Must have a strong knowledge of the local real estate market including cost of construction, home values, architectural trends and the most desirable neighborhoods.
- Maintain a working knowledge of the latest design trends, building materials and industry technology.
- Be actively involved in the community.
- Be actively involved in professional organizations, such as NAHB, BNI, etc.
- Actively network with past clients, market partners, business associates, and community influencers to develop new business.
- Develop strong relationships within the real estate and mortgage industries.
- Work with Accounting and Operations departments to establish all pricing is in line with the company's profit expectations.
- Work with our marketing company to keep the Lighthouse Construction name fresh and relevant in the local community.
- Responsible to know and abide by all company policies and procedures as outlined in the Lighthouse Standard Operating Procedures handbook.
- Participate in continuing education opportunities
Additional Expectations:
- Valid Drivers License and late model and dependable automobile
- Work a minimum 40 hour work week
- Should be available for sales calls between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM
Some evening and weekend time may be required Must be an enthusiastic and energetic self starter
- Follow up with all leads within two hours of receiving and then again on the same day using two different means of communication. Repeat this process each day until contact is made and in-person meeting is scheduled.
- Report weekly sales activities and sales calls to General manager each week during weekly sales meeting
- Target business to business opportunities where the company can get repeat business by establishing and maintaining active relationships with architects, land developers, designers and real estate industry professionals.
- Manage/delegate and maintain all company business development initiatives inclusive of website, Sales SOP documents and procedures
