Responsibilities:
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans for preschool students
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Foster social, emotional, and cognitive development through engaging activities
- Teach basic literacy and numeracy skills through interactive lessons
- Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting instruction as needed
- Collaborate with parents and other staff members to support student learning
- Manage classroom behavior and promote positive social interactions
- Ensure the health and safety of all students in the classroom
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment
Experience:
- Previous experience working with preschool-aged students
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
- Familiarity with lesson planning and curriculum development
- Ability to implement early intervention strategies for students with special needs
- Strong behavior management skills to create a positive learning environment
- Experience in providing care for toddlers is a plus
Qualifications:
- CDA preferred
- State certification or licensure in Early
Spanish speaker is a plus.
Childhood Education is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for working with young children
