Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, ensuring the safety and comfort of patients, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals. Duties
- Administer medications and injections as prescribed by physicians.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' health status and document findings in medical records.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, including discharge planning for patients transitioning out of care.
- Perform sterile processing and maintain a clean, safe environment for patients.
- Assist in trauma medicine situations, providing immediate care as needed.
- Conduct mammography procedures when required, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Catheterize patients as necessary, following proper protocols.
- Utilize MDS (Minimum Data Set) assessments to evaluate patient needs and progress.
- Provide esthetic laser treatments under appropriate guidelines when applicable.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes and ensure continuity of care.
Requirements
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Experience administering injections is preferred.
- Knowledge of discharge planning processes is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with medical records management systems is essential.
- Experience in sterile processing techniques is a plus.
- Background in trauma medicine is beneficial for this role.
- Certification or experience in mammography is an asset.
- Ability to lift patients safely and assist with mobility as needed.
- Proficiency in MDS assessments is advantageous.
- Experience with esthetic laser treatment is a plus but not mandatory.
