Job Title : Fiber Optic Assembler
Location : Tualatin, OR
Type : 3 months Temp-to-Perm
Shift : Monday – Thursday : 6 : 00 AM – 4 : 30 PM | Friday : As needed
Hourly : $19-$20 / hr
Position Overview :
Lighthouse Professional Services is seeking two highly skilled Fiber Optic Assemblers to join our client’s team in Tualatin, OR. The Fiber Optic Assemblers will be responsible for assembling fiber optic cables by following blueprints and instructions, performing microscopic inspections, and conducting finished product testing. Experience in a clean room environment and with assembly is required.
Key Responsibilities :
- Follow blueprints and instructions to assemble fiber optic cables
- Soldering to complete assembled products
- Perform microscopic inspection on finished cables
- Conduct finished product testing
- Adjust any misplaced wires and ensure accurate production
- Required Skills & Experience :
- Experience with fiber optics
- Experience in a clean room environment
- Experience with assembly
- Ability to stand for 8 hours
- Ability to grip, grasp, twist, etc.
- Willing to take pre-employment screenings
- Education / Experience :
- No formal education required; experience in fiber optic assembly preferred
