Lighthouse Professional Services is currently seeking a highly skilled Material Control Attendant to join our client in Yonkers, NY. In this role, you will perform material handling, inventory management, and production support duties in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in material control processes and the ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced setting.
Key Responsibilities :
- Material Handling :
Perform kiting, tracking, and moving material using work procedures, engineering drawings, and verbal instructions.
Complete shipping, receiving, and documentation tasks with accuracy.
Utilize the company’s computer inventory system to verify inventory, research transactions, and perform transfers.
Expedite materials for production and track shortages, lost, or damaged items.
Operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and other equipment safely and efficiently.
