What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part- Time Administrative Assistant position at Lighthouse Therapeutics?
COMPANY OVERVIEW
Small, private, locally owned outpatient practice (to include patients’ natural environment) seeking self-motivated Administrative Assistant for full-time position; to cover the Sumter, SC. The candidate will also have to report to the main office located in Lugoff, SC 1-2x per week. We are committed to providing compassionate, family-oriented short-term and long-term care.
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities for Both locations
· Ensure all areas of office are running efficiently
· Provide full front office receptionist and administrative duties
· Welcome and greet ALL patients and visitors, in person and over the phone
· Facilitate patient flow by notifying the provider of patient arrival, being aware of delays, and communicating with patients and clinical staff
· Answer and transfer calls
· Facilitate inquiries and requests
· Prepare new patient charts
· Perform general clerical functions
· Copy documents
· Confirm new patient appointments (evaluations and first treatment session)
· Contact patients after two consecutive no shows for therapy
· Maintain stock of clinical forms, business forms, and equipment
· Collect/ Print therapist notes weekly, biweekly, or on a monthly basis and inform treating therapist and lead therapist of missing notes
· Maintain appearance, function, and cleanliness of therapy and office space and equipment.
· Understand and follow all Lighthouse Therapeutics policies and procedures
· Maintain patient confidentiality.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $10.00 - $13.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 20 per week

- 8 hour shift
