Lightning Logistics is looking for hardworking, dependable Dock Workers to join our fast-paced logistics team. If you're physically fit, detail-oriented, and thrive in a team environment, we want to hear from you!
Position Summary:
As a Dock Worker, you’ll play a vital role in the loading and unloading of freight, organizing shipments, and keeping our operations running smoothly and safely.
Key Responsibilities:
- Load and unload trailers and delivery vehicles.
- Sort, stage, and scan freight for accurate shipment.
- Operate pallet jacks, hand trucks, and forklifts (if certified).
- Maintain a clean and safe dock area.
- Assist with inventory control and reporting. Communicate with drivers, dispatchers, and warehouse team.
Qualifications:
- Prior dock/warehouse experience preferred (but not required)
- Ability to lift/move up to 50–75 lbs regularly
- Strong attention to detail and safety procedures
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Forklift certification a plus (but we can help you get certified!)
- Must be able to work in varying temperatures and environments Must be able to pass a Background Check
