Position: Accounts Receivable Clerk
Position reports to the Accounts Receivable Manager
Location: Hybrid (Chicago IL, 60614)
Pay Rate: $25.00 Hourly
We are seeking a dedicated full-time Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will help ensure the timely processing of invoices, customer statements, refund processing, and deposits. Individuals should possess a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Process refunds through our online credit card portal for web order cancellations, order changes, handling around 80 transactions weekly.
- Assist with preparing and depositing checks
- Assist with posting cash receipts from lockbox, credit card payments, checks from regular mail
- Handle ad hoc assignments as needed
- Assist with emailing over 200 customer statements each month
- Help sending out about 90 invoices on a weekly basis

- Assist with preparing and depositing checks
Requirements
- A college degree is a plus but not required.
- Intermediate Excel and Word knowledge.
- Must be detail-oriented and be able to work independently with minimum supervision.
- Past accounts receivable experience in a retail or manufacturing environment is a plus, but not required.
- Experience with NetSuite is a plus.
