Position : Outside Sales Representative

Role Overview :

The Outside Sales Representative will play a key role in expanding Lightstyle’s customer base by building strong relationships with homeowners, builders, designers, and architects throughout the Central Florida region. This is a client-facing position that requires a deep understanding of our lighting products, excellent interpersonal skills, and a drive to meet and exceed sales goals.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Build and Maintain Relationships : Develop lasting partnerships with new and existing customers, including homeowners, builders, interior designers, and architects.
  • Client Consultations : Meet clients at their homes, offices, or job sites to provide tailored lighting solutions that align with their vision and budget.
  • Product Expertise : Stay informed about the latest lighting trends, designs, and technologies to effectively advise clients and showcase Lightstyle’s offerings.
  • Sales Growth : Identify new sales opportunities, prospect potential clients, and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Collaboration : Work closely with the showroom team, project managers, and other departments to ensure seamless customer experiences from consultation to installation.
  • Community Engagement : Represent Lightstyle at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to strengthen brand visibility and attract new business.
  • Market Insight : Gather feedback from customers and competitors to provide insights that help refine Lightstyle’s products and services.

Qualifications :

  • Sales Experience : Proven track record in outside sales, preferably in lighting, interior design, or a related field.
  • Industry Knowledge : Familiarity with lighting products, trends, and solutions is highly preferred.
  • Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication abilities to build trust and rapport with clients.
  • Self-Motivation : Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks.
  • Customer-Centric : A passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences and creative solutions.
  • Tech-Savvy : Comfortable using CRM systems, presentation tools, and basic design software to support sales efforts.
  • Valid Driver’s License : Ability to travel frequently within Central Florida to meet with clients and attend events.
