What are the responsibilities and job description for the RN - After Hours position at Lightways Hospice and Serious Illness Care?
Lightways Hospice and Serious Illness Care, founded as Joliet Area Community Hospice serves Will, Grundy, Kendall, LaSalle, Southern Cook, DuPage, Kane, McHenry, Lake and a portion of Kankakee counties, is seeking an Overnight RN.We have a state-of-the-art facility and the first free standing in-patient Hospice Home in Illinois.We have over a 35-year history for providing compassionate professional care to terminally ill patients and their families.We are state licensed and Medicare/Medicaid certified.
We currently have two (2) openings for RN's working after hours/overnight including alternating weekends. These positions are travelling visit positions throughout Lake, McHenry, Cook and Kane counties. RN will respond to PRN or assist Field RN Case Managers as needed throughout our service area. The qualified candidate will have a minimum of three (3) years RN experience in home health, critical care or long term care. Hospice experience a plus.
