Job Summary
As an Account Manager, you will be crucial to our agency’s support team. As a licensed agent across multiple states, your primary responsibility will be facilitating daily communications with our ministries. Your tasks will include, but are not limited to, filing incoming requests from ministries, directing the flow of communications between our sales staff and carrier underwriting, auditing, and maintaining accurate documentation in our Agency Management System (AMS). Additionally, you will file and follow up on claims and support our customer base by providing timely responses to requests for changes and addressing any questions related to their policies
Key Responsibilities
Data Management
- Update our Agency Management System (AMS) with critical client contact information.
- Audit customer accounts to correct and maintain accurate policy information.
- Summarize and document client, internal, and underwriting communications in our Agency Management System (AMS).
Daily Workflows
- Work in a group setting as a team to answer customer calls and emails.
- Answer billing inquiries.
- Provide coverage explanations and escalate complex questions to the Account Executive or Producer.
- File claims and or provide updates on existing claims
- Process change requests from insureds and internal departments.
- Follow up on underwriting request.
- Provide internal departments with underwriting communications
- Follow up on daily assigned tasks in our AMS.
- Multitask to complete high workflows while maintaining customer interactions.
Qualifications
- Experience with Property and Casualty customer service.
- Experience working or volunteering with ministry-focused organizations.
- Proficient in using office software (e.g., Microsoft Office).
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
