We are seeking a dedicated and results-driven Account Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing client relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction, and driving sales growth. This role involves working closely with clients to understand their needs, providing tailored solutions, and maintaining long-term partnerships. Essential Duties and Responsibilities : The Account Manager is primarily responsible for developing new product and service sales business within the assigned territory, while also maintaining the current customer account base through the development of relationships. Develop opportunities to cross-sell products and services to new and current customers. Responsible for communicating to supervisor all field intelligence, competitive trends and most current information regarding field sales projects and sales opportunities. Ability to work within all levels of a customer organization, including but not limited to Executive Leadership, Purchasing, Plant Managers, Customer Service, and Plant Operations. Qualifications and Requirements : Bachelor’s degree in business or chemical discipline is required. A minimum of 5 years’ experience in sales in the Chemical Industry is preferred. Working knowledge of products, markets and applications is required. Requires a highly driven individual with experience in closing business sales in a timely manner. Strong knowledge and previous application of Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point, and Adobe software. Knowledge and experience with eChempax or a similar industry specific CRM system is preferred. Up to 60% travel required.
