Job description
We’re seeking a strategic and hands-on VP of Sales to lead our expanding sales program and support our ambitious go-to-market efforts for our breakthrough video communication and collaboration platform. As an early sales leader in our fast-growing tech company, you’ll be responsible for shaping our sales strategy and driving customer acquisition across key verticals such as media, enterprise, education, and remote-first organizations. This role blends leadership and execution — you’ll roll up your sleeves to close high-value deals, refine our pitch, and work closely with other departments to align on market fit and customer feedback. If you thrive in fast-paced environments, have deep experience in SaaS or video tech sales, and are excited to build something transformative from the ground up, we’d love to hear from you.
Who you are
- Entrepreneurial and resourceful — you love building from the ground up
- A confident communicator and skilled negotiator who knows how to close deals and build lasting relationships
- Well-connected in the media and entertainment industries, with strong relationships across studios and production companies — especially with CTOs, Heads of Post, and other senior post-production and tech decision-makers
- Comfortable with sales tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, ZoomInfo)
- Passionate about delivering value to customers and crafting compelling solutions to their challenges
- Data-driven and goal-oriented, with a sharp eye on performance metrics and growth levers
- Collaborative — you work well across product, marketing, and leadership teams
- Excited about the future of video communication and eager to shape how people connect and collaborate
What the job involves
- Conducting product demos and tailoring solutions based on client needs
- Developing and managing a sales pipeline using CRM tools
- Collaborating with other departments to refine messaging, features, and value propositions
- Meeting and exceeding monthly sales goals and KPIs
- Providing customer feedback to help shape the platform’s roadmap
- Attending trade shows, webinars, and industry events as needed
Must have
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field required; MBA a plus. Equivalent experience considered.
- 3 years in B2B SaaS sales with a strong track record of hitting revenue goals and leading high-performing teams
- Experience selling video, communication, or collaboration platforms, with hands-on involvement in full sales cycles
- Proven ability to build and execute go-to-market strategies in fast-paced startup environments
