Position Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Landscape Design-Build Sales consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of creative design talent and proven sales acumen, with a focus on high-end residential projects. This role involves managing client relationships from initial consultation through project completion, ensuring exceptional design solutions and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Engagement:
o Conduct comprehensive consultations with clients to understand their vision, preferences, and lifestyle requirements.
o Develop and present innovative landscape design concepts that align with client expectations and budgetary considerations.
- Design Development:
o Create detailed design plans, including site analysis, conceptual sketches, and 3D renderings.
o Collaborate with the design team to refine concepts and ensure feasibility and aesthetic excellence.
- Sales and Business Development:
o Generate leads and cultivate relationships with potential clients, architects, builders, and other industry professionals.
o Prepare and present compelling proposals, effectively communicating design ideas and project value.
o Negotiate contracts and close sales to meet or exceed established revenue targets.
- Project Coordination:
o Work closely with project managers and construction teams to ensure design integrity and client expectations are maintained throughout the build process.
o Participate in site visits and meetings to provide design oversight and address any client concerns.
Qualifications:
- Education and Experience:
o Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture, Horticulture, or a related field.
o Minimum of 5 years of experience in landscape design and sales, preferably in the high-end residential market.
- Skills and Competencies:
o Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and 3D rendering tools.
o Strong understanding of horticultural practices, hardscape materials, and construction methodologies.
o Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
o Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
o Self-motivated with a keen eye for detail and a passion for design excellence.
