What are the responsibilities and job description for the Guest Service Representative - Guest Services position at Lima Memorial Health System?
Functioning within the Health System’s mission, values, objectives, procedures and policies, the Guest Service Representative is responsible for visitor management , patient and guest transports throughout the healthcare system, patient monitoring, and parking and retrieving vehicles for visitors arriving at the main campus. Greets patients and visitors upon arrival. Assists patients and visitors with wheelchair needs and provides general non-medical information and assistance (such as driving directions, escorts to locations within the healthcare system, local eateries, etc.). The Guest Services Representative is responsible for understanding and following all LMHS policies and procedures, complying with all LMHS safety and risk management policies, reporting all accidents and injuries in a timely manner, and performing all work in accordance with established safety procedures.
Education: High School graduate or GED preferred.
Licensure/Certification: BLS required.
Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
Skills: Must have excellent verbal and interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact effectively with all customers. Must also have the ability to use various computer programs, electronic equipment and communication devices, and to drive a variety of vehicles, including those with a standard transmission.
