What are the responsibilities and job description for the PRN Clerk - Outreach Laboratory - Lab-Outreach position at Lima Memorial Health System?
Functioning within the Health System’s mission, values, objectives, procedures and policies, the Laboratory Clerk performs all clerical/secretarial duties necessary for normal laboratory office operation, (i.e. typing, filing, answering phones, mailing results, etc.). Processes specimens for testing. Uses the computer system for registering, accepting, retrieving, and ordering tests on patients. .
Education: High School graduate or GED preferred
Licensure/Certification: N/A
Experience: A minimum of two years of clerical experience is preferred
Skills: Must have strong verbal and interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact effectively with all constituents. Strong clerical skills and attention to detail are also required..
