Overview: We seek a poised and professional Host Staff Member to join our renowned team. As our guests' first point of contact, you will play a crucial role in creating an exceptional dining experience from the moment they arrive. Your warm, gracious demeanor and attention to detail will set the tone for their unforgettable journey through our culinary offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome guests with warmth and sophistication upon arrival.
• Assist guests in making reservations in person and over the phone, ensuring accuracy and attention to special requests.
• Maintain a well-organized and efficient reservation system.
• Escort guests to their tables, providing menus, and assisting in seating.
• Manage the waitlist and estimate wait times, keeping guests informed.
• Communicate effectively with the serving staff to ensure smooth table turnover and an exceptional guest experience.
• Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and special requests with professionalism and promptness.
• Collaborate closely with restaurant management to optimize table allocation and seating arrangements.
• Maintain a pristine and inviting reception area.
• Uphold the restaurant's high standards of appearance, grooming, and uniform presentation.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a high-end, fine-dining restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to make guests feel valued and appreciated.
• Impeccable grooming, presentation, and polished appearance.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• A passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
• Ability to work gracefully under pressure and handle challenging situations with poise.
• Familiarity with OpenTable is an asset.
• A commitment to upholding the restaurant's reputation for excellence.
