Description
Are you a passionate storyteller who takes initiative to create and distribute high-quality content? If so, then we would like to meet you! We are looking for a full-time Marketing Coordinator to support the Marketing department in developing and executing our social media strategy, marketing campaigns, and fundraising initiatives.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Initiates donor engagement initiatives, such as tours, mailings, e-newsletters or small special events, under the direction of the Director of Development.
- Assists with planning and implementation of marketing for special agency programs and events such as United Way Giving Campaign and community partnered events.
- Executes public relations and marketing goals set forth in the marking plan using multiple methods, including website content management, media relations, social media management and design of printed promotional items.
- Uses appropriate tools (Wordpress CMS, Photoshop, MS Office, Outlook, Mailchimp, social media) to promote the agency.
- Collaborates with agency departments in order to support internal agency communication.
- Drafts appropriate letters and mailings for donor engagement. Uses provided systems to track donor activity and communication.
- Represents the agency at community functions, networking events, business meetings or other activities in order to promote the agency and to provide agency information or assist with agency development responsibilities. Requires use of a vehicle.
- Utilizing a vehicle, conducts public relations, public education and / or development activities on behalf of the agency.
