Job Summary:
The Clinical Supervisor for Behavioral Health Services will oversee and provide clinical supervision to a team of mental health professionals, including therapists, counselors, within a behavioral health setting. This role ensures that all clinical services are delivered in compliance with state, federal, and organizational guidelines and that clients receive high-quality, effective care. The Clinical Supervisor will also be responsible for fostering a positive, collaborative work environment, providing mentorship and professional development opportunities, and overseeing the clinical team’s performance. The Clinical Supervisor will also have a small caseload of cases for therapy services.
Key Responsibilities:

Supervision & Guidance:
- Provide clinical supervision to a team of licensed and unlicensed mental health professionals.
- Review and monitor treatment plans and progress notes to ensure compliance with clinical best practices.
- Offer case consultation and mentorship to staff to support their clinical development and adherence to ethical standards.
- Knowledgeable of up-to-date laws, regulations, and mandates in the Behavorial health system.

Staff Training & Development:
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance staff skills and ensure they are up to date with clinical techniques, compliance standards, and regulatory changes.
- Conduct regular individual and group supervision sessions to support staff with their professional growth.

Client Care Oversight:
- Ensure that clients are receiving appropriate care in accordance with their treatment plans and in line with evidence-based practices.
- Conduct assessments and clinical evaluations as necessary to assist staff with difficult or complex cases.

Compliance & Documentation:
- Ensure that all clinical documentation is accurate, timely, and compliant with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Review and sign off on treatment plans, progress notes, and other clinical documentation for accuracy and completeness.
- Ensure that the team adheres to confidentiality standards, HIPAA, and ethical codes of practice.

Best Practices Maintenance
- The Clinical Supervisor will have a caseload of approximately 15 cases to complete intakes, reassessments, and/or provide behavioral health services.
- Monitor the quality of care provided by staff and address performance issues when necessary.
- Evaluate program outcomes and recommend improvements for services based on client feedback and data analysis.

Collaboration & Communication:
- Foster open communication between the clinical team and other departments, ensuring effective coordination of care.
- Collaborate with other healthcare providers, including physicians and case managers, to support clients' overall health and wellness.

Crisis Management:
- Provide support and guidance in high-stress or crisis situations, ensuring that appropriate steps are taken to address client needs.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in social work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field.
- Current, valid state licensure (e.g., LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or equivalent).
- Minimum of [2] years of clinical experience in behavioral health, mental health, or related fields.
- At least [2] years of supervisory experience in a behavioral health or clinical setting.
- Strong knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic practices, behavioral health trends, and regulatory compliance.
- Ability to manage and mentor a diverse team of professionals.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with integrity.
Preferred Qualifications:
