Duties

• Perform cleaning, disinfection, and sterilization of dental instruments and equipment following established protocols.
• Operate sterilization equipment and ensure proper functioning through routine maintenance checks.
• Monitor sterilization processes and maintain accurate records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Assist in the preparation of instruments for various dental procedures.
• Collaborate with dental staff to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to safety standards.
• Support dental imaging processes, including X-Ray procedures
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all infection control policies.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a dental setting is preferred, but not necessary.
• Understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• Experience in four-handed dentistry or assisting is beneficial but not required.
