Job Title: Machine Tool Electrician
Job Summary
The machine tool electrician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and electrical repair of the equipment and electrical systems. This role ensures the smooth operation of machinery and electrical systems while adhering to safety regulations and industry standards.
Responsibilities
1st shift - 6am - 2:30pm
2nd shift - 2:00pm - 10:30pm
3rd shift 10:00pm to 6:30am
Shift premiums for 2nd and 3rd shifts.

Job Title: Machine Tool Electrician
Job Summary
The machine tool electrician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and electrical repair of the equipment and electrical systems. This role ensures the smooth operation of machinery and electrical systems while adhering to safety regulations and industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Install and maintain electrical systems, machinery and equipment
- Perform routine inspections and preventative and predictive maintenance on electrical equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Setup and wire electrical panels, motor controls and automated systems
- Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment and control systems electrical issues
- Repair or replace faulty wiring, circuit breakers and electrical components
- Utilize diagnostic tools and instruments to identify and resolve electrical problems
- Troubleshoot Allen Bradley PLC, Fanuc / Siemens CNC controls, drives and other PC based systems
- Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics and electrical codes
- Test electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current voltage and resistance
- Ability to close work orders using maintenance WO systems
- Other duties as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Three (3) to five (5) years electrical troubleshooting experience is preferred
- Knowledge of PLCs (programmable Logic Controllers), motor controls and industrial automation systems
- Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical blueprints, schematics and technical manuals
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical systems and machinery
- Minimum 2 years of experience working as an industrial electrician in manufacturing or industrial environment
