TRANSPORTATION DRIVER/WEEKDAY TREATMENT SUPPORT ASSOCIATE

Location: LINC MER Residential Campus
Full/Part Time: Full-time (flex schedule)
Job Type: Full-time -1 Position/ 2 Tasks
Salary: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour based on experience
License/Certification: Valid Driver's License (Mandatory)
Schedule: 8 am-8 pm Sat and 8 am-8 pm Sunday (24 hours)
8 am-4 pm two rotating weekdays (16 hours)
Example: Tuesday & Wednesday one week, then Thursday & Friday next week.
Job Summary:
Leading Into New Communities (LINC) seeks a Transportation Driver and Weekend Treatment Support Associate. In this position, the person is an essential part of the MER facility, responsible for transporting clients/residents to and from one location to another and displaying in-depth knowledge of residential and/or reentry protocols. Our agency must be represented in a friendly and professional manner. Experience working with formerly incarcerated or marginalized populations is beneficial. Work is performed in office settings and through site visits, community-based visits, and/or field locations.
Transportation Driver (Mandatory Weekend Saturday and Sunday 12-hour shift)
- Ability to adhere to the essential functions of the driver and Treatment Services Coordinator responsibilities.
- Ability to perform routine vehicle maintenance, cleaning, and tracking of fuel usage.
- Ability to make good decisions regarding safety and route.
- Ability to respond accordingly to intense or volatile situations that may occur while in route.
- Familiarity with local traffic laws and regulations for the operation of a non-commercial vehicle.
Treatment Services Associate (2 flexible weekdays, 8-hour shift)
- Confirming and documenting client/resident appointments.
- Excellent communication skills for the arrangement of all vehicle maintenance.
- Responsible for assisting with arranging, scheduling, and vetting client appointments.
- Communicate with the MER Director regarding concerns, feedback, and client issues.
- Maintain client confidentiality at all times, and by LINC, Inc.
Minimum Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent (GED certificate) or Associate’s Degree in a Human Services field, along with one (1) year of experience providing treatment services in similar settings. Alternatively, an equivalent combination of education and experience. The candidate should have excellent time-management abilities and a clean driving record. Basic first aid and CPR techniques, and emergency procedures.
Preferred Requirements:
Two to five (2-5) years of work experience working in culturally sensitive environments. Excellent time-management abilities, communication, and customer service skills; reflective listening skills, or listening to identify needs and rephrasing of information heard for clarification.
