JOB DESCRIPTION :
The Packaging Specialist will focus on new business development and account management for a designated group of customer and prospect accounts. This position will engage with prospects and customers to market industrial products, services offerings, and provide value by creating long term professional relationships, constantly striving to lower the overall account TCO (total cost of ownership), market additional industrial products and services offerings, and secure long-term contracts. This position requires a high achiever with excellent problem-solving skills who seeks to work independently and be held accountable for their goals.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Bring a high-energy, positive mindset every day which embodies the LINC Systems’ principles.
- Engage in prospecting activities with accounts and contacts focused on LINC’s strategic end markets and related product marketing objectives.
- Develop rapport with appropriate customer / prospect contacts by establishing professional relationships, by utilizing LINC packaging sales process steps, while understanding the emerging needs of new business opportunities.
- Pursues LINC provided and other referral source leads immediately.
- Cultivate sales through strategic planning, proposing solutions and maintaining a well-organized approach. Generates value add solutions for new project opportunities.
- Updates CRM daily on sales opportunity updates, appointment scheduling and history, account and contact updates, and critical communication tracking.
- Develops a high level of knowledge regarding various end of line packaging products and applications and equipment.
- Develops and nurtures priority vendor representative relationships to support business development activities.
- Participate in priority vendor training regularly to become the subject matter expert for marking and coding, end of line, and retail automation solutions.
- Travel to account locations as needed to evaluate applications with a site needs assessment and requirement discovery evaluation. Overnight stays are expected as travel requirements demand.
- Drive the execution of proposals to reflect value through equipment, consumable, and technical service offerings in conjunction with ROI documentation lowering the overall TCO (end user total cost of ownership). This includes the documentation and submission of system quote requests and appropriate survey documentation, analysis of required justification documentation, preparation of unique value proposition details, and cataloging of all necessary communication.

Must possess ability to travel throughout territory daily.
Proficient use of Office 365
Strong organizational skills with good business sense
