Job Description
Position Pay: $18hr.
Hours: Combination of shifts, early AM, Mid and PM shifts based on business
Weekend coverage is needed consistently: If you are looking for weekends off, this is not the job for you
Reports to: Director of Outlets
Location: Allegria Hotel – 80 West Broadway, Long Beach NY 11561

We are currently looking for a talented Host to join our team. The Host is responsible for the guest’s experience at the beginning and end of their dining experience by interacting with guests and the public by phone and in person.
Responsibilities
- Provides professional and courteous guest service at all times
- Greets arriving dining guests
- Answers telephone calls courteously and efficiently
- Generates, confirms, cancels, and changes guest dining reservations
- Computes bills, receives payments, and makes change for receipts
- Promotes any current hotel and franchise marketing programs
- Provides assistance during dining hours, including stocking, cleaning and serving
- Helps with Bar Service in the afternoon and evening hours
- Prepares food items 24/7
- May perform additional duties as required
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; no experience required
- Good math and computer skills
- Must be able to pass physical exam, drug test, and background check
- Must be physically able to carry out duties, which include walking and standing to a significant degree, reaching, handling, lifting, talking, hearing, and seeing
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and frequently lift and/or carry/transport objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
- Must be able to read, write, and speak in English

- You begin accruing PTO on your first day of work and can use your available balance at anytime

- 0-4 Years = Up to 80 hours
- 5 Years = Up to 120 hours
