Program Overview : The Lincoln Center Summer Internship is a paid, 10-week, in-person arts administration internship for NYC undergraduate students passionate about the performing arts. This program cultivates the next generation of leaders in the field by providing hands-on experience and professional development opportunities.
In the programming department, interns will have a chance to support the programming team in upcoming spring events and showcases and Lincoln Center's beloved Summer for the City festival. Interns will be given insights into artist management and program curation for a large-scale, recurring summer festival that services the community of artists and patrons of Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts. You'll learn project and time management, how to manage concurrent projects, problem solving skills, and insights into artist management and programming curation. Interns will also be able to survey and interpret project briefs, independently create emails and performance materials, and analyze performance data to implement feedback.
