Role Overview : The Prospect Research Coordinator is a key member of the entrepreneurial Prospect Research and Operations team in Lincoln Center's Advancement & Innovation business unit. Reporting to the Associate Director for Strategic Research, the Prospect Research Coordinator provides critical research support for the department's fundraising initiatives. The right fit for this role is an experienced prospect research coordinator with a demonstrated history of identifying, researching, and analyzing potential donors to help build and maintain a robust donor pipeline. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and a passion for the performing arts. Given the nature of this role, the Prospect Research Coordinator must be able to work autonomously, prioritize multiple workstreams and deadlines, be exceptionally organized and have excellent communication skills.
What you'll get to do here :
The Prospect Research team manages fundraising research for Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts. The team is responsible for all prospect development tasks, including identification, qualification, prospect and moves management, fundraiser portfolio design, and prospect research. We are constantly innovating & adapting, and we also hold ourselves to the highest standard of prospect development. As researchers, we support our fundraisers by providing targeted research on individuals, corporations, and foundations, as well as events support & special projects.
In conjunction with the Associate Director of Strategic Research and the Prospect Research Managers, the Prospect Research Coordinator will :
- Support the Strategic Research team's efforts to identify and build a robust pool of very high and ultra-high net worth prospects
- Manage most research requests for LCPA events, relationship mapping and wealth screenings; Assist in the preparation of materials for donor meetings and events.
- Utilize a suite of prospect research vendor databases, including iWave, Lexis Nexis, RelSci, and Wealth-X for qualifications, relationship maps, strategic fundraiser support, etc.
- Conduct topline research on event attendees
- Complete due diligence checks using online sources in accordance with LCPA's gift acceptance policy
- Champion the CRM Tessitura for prospect moves management and donor tracking; Maintain and update the donor database with accurate and current information.
- Provide support for staff training on research best practices while ensuring adherence to data privacy standards. Monitor industry trends and best practices in prospect research and fundraising. Ensure all research activities comply with ethical standards and maintain confidentiality.
