CNC Programmer Job Description
Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for programming and operating CNC machines to produce high-quality components. This role requires a strong understanding of machining processes, CAD software, and precision measurement tools. The CNC Programmer will work closely with engineers and machinists to ensure that production goals are met efficiently and accurately. This is a full-time on-site role. The CNC Lathe Programmer will be responsible for technical drawing, CNC programming, machining, milling, and programming tasks on a daily basis. Also responsible for set up and operations of CNC machines. HAAS Mills and Mazak Lathes.
Duties
- Develop and optimize CNC programs using software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and CAD.
- Set up and operate CNC machines, including lathes and milling machines.
- Utilize precision measurement tools such as calipers and micrometers to ensure product specifications are met.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the machining process.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve tooling designs and machining processes.
- Maintain accurate documentation of programming changes and machine settings.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and best practices in the manufacturing environment.
Requirements
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Experience with CAD software, including SolidWorks and AutoCAD is a plus
- Strong background in machining processes, including tooling setup and operation of lathes.
- Familiarity with precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to work effectively within a team environment.
- Experience with CNC Machines
- Ability to interpret blue prints and schematics
- Effective problem-solving skills
-Certificate or Associates degree in CNC machining or related field

Pay: $27.41 - $29.06 per hour
