What are the responsibilities and job description for the INSTRUCTIONAL COACH- ELA position at Lincoln County R-III School District?
OPEN POSITION : Instructional Coach - ELA
START DATE : 2025-2026 School Year
PRIMARY FUNCTION : Collaborate with classroom teachers to support the implementation of changes in curriculum, instruction, and assessment. Analyze student performance data to inform instructional adjustments. Assist teachers in aligning assessment data with classroom instruction, work closely with administrators and parents, and support schools in developing a comprehensive pyramid of interventions. Facilitate curriculum-based team meetings, provide high-quality professional development opportunities, and continuously engage in professional growth by applying research-based strategies. This is a District wide position that will serve PreK - 12 grade.
QUALIFICATIONS :
- Master's Degree or equivalent in curriculum development, education, or a related field, with extensive coursework and experience in curriculum revision and development is required.
- A minimum of 5 years of classroom teaching experience is preferred.
- Valid Missouri teaching certificate required.
- Experience in curriculum design, instruction, and professional development within a school district is preferred.
- Completion of relevant coursework or training in instructional strategies, curriculum development, and education leadership is preferred.
