PURPOSE : Lincoln Electric is seeking an Engineering Technician for our Euclid, Ohio headquarters. The Engineering Technician will provide technical and process support for Lincoln's R&D Engineers in the area of new product development for EV Charging. JOB DESCRIPTION (DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES)
- Our Engineering Technicians provide technical support to engineers and scientists in areas such as production, operations, maintenance, safety, testing, process improvement or product development.
- You will use schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions or defined plans to perform testing and troubleshooting on electronic or mechanical components, equipment or systems.
- Gather, maintain, format, compile and manipulate technical data using established formulae and procedures and performs detailed mathematical calculations.
- Work collaboratively in Lincoln’s Machine R&D laboratory assisting multiple projects in the design, construction, and testing of EV Charging Products
- Use data acquisition system, computers, and CAD as required. Assist in the preparation of documentation.
- Operate basic lab equipment including meters, oscilloscopes, temperature recorders, etc. (Training provided as needed).
- Acts as an informal resource for colleagues with less experience.
- Assumes additional responsibilities as needed or directed in support of the Company’s 2025 Strategy.
